In Vietnam, where the majority of the diet consists of meat and seafood, being a vegetarian may seem impossible, but surprisingly it’s not! Finding vegetarian food—called Quay Chays—is easy. Tonight, we will start with Banh mi (street food baguette sandwich), Ca Lan Xao Toi (stir-fried morning glory, water spinach, and Asian cauliflower), wild mushroom Pho, and finish with a jackfruit sorbet with popped amaranth. Complimentary Alsatian bubbles will be poured. Wine recommendations: Alsatian Rieslings and Gewurtztraminer.
