Let’s draw and paint motorcycles while the Cultural Center of Cape Cod is filled with Harley Davidsons.
Join this 3-class session for a unique opportunity to try something different!
Classes will include tips on how to develop form, foreshortening and accurate proportions. We will begin with live sketching to develop a sense of the motorcycles while also using that time to play with various vantage points to create both close up and full image sketches. Using these sketches and photo images provided by the Cultural Center we will work on creating a painting that captures the personality of the bike.
This class is for beginners, refreshers and intermediate students and meets on the main level of the Education Wing.
MATERIALS
Soft pastels only, no oil pastels.
Pastel surfaces made specifically for pastel painting such as Sennelier LaCarte, Art Spectrum,, Pastelmat and Pastel Premier. Pastel papers such as Canson Mi Tienes will be used for studies.

Foam core board to hold pastel papers
