Instructor: Susan Simon
Saturday, July 20, 2:00-7:00 pm in the Schoolhouse to start, then to the beach!

Cost: $100/$85 members

Capturing motion is something a camera does exceedingly well. With the right settings, we can actually see what our eyes cannot, freezing motion in a fraction of a second or blurring motion to emphasize the passage of time. These techniques are often used to shoot waves and wildlife where shutter speed is the key to capture movement. This workshop will begin in the classroom where we will learn techniques to do both and then we will go out to a beach to try our hands at the skills we’ve learned. Please bring a snack for the afternoon, dress in layers as temps will drop, and bug spray is encouraged.
