Fall back in love with the NHA as we reopen our doors to the public mid-February. Jump in the saddle and join us at the Whaling Museum on February 16 for a line dancing tutorial and social! Mingle and enjoy light bites and a Valentine’s themed mocktail before and after Nantucket Community School instructor, Cindy Hsu, leads us all through a beginner-level line dance class!
Line-dancing originated in western dance bars, social clubs, and ballrooms. Cindy will be teaching some fun sequences set to a mixture of contemporary pop and country. Wear something comfortable, whether that means cowboy boots and jeans, or sweats and sneakers. Round up a group of friends or come on your own for a lively evening stepping and grooving with other folks under the whale!
