Learn the ancient art of Shibori dyeing! Create fabulous wearables using Indigo dye for yourself or to give as gifts.
Several different techniques will be taught and participants will choose how to prep their fabrics. On Day 1, students will create TWO silk scarves – over $90 retail value – from start to finish! On Day 2, students may opt to create a large cotton tote or 2 cotton scarves. Students will spend time prepping fabric before soaking. The fabric will then be submerged multiple times in the dye vat before rinsing thoroughly and hanging to dry.
