Transcription Mornings

Join us for drop-in transcription mornings for an opportunity to get started with or continue working on transcription projects in a social environment as part of the NHA’s Volunteer Transcription Project. Research Associate Peggi Godwin will be on hand to help with any questions, from signing up on From the Page to untangling a tricky word.
Current projects include correspondence from a nineteenth-century Nantucket family, the journals of island historian Obed Macy, and log books documenting whaling voyages. There are projects available for beginner and experienced transcribers alike!
Transcribers can stop in for any length of time during the session.
Please note: Transcription Mornings WILL take place on Monday, January 15, and Monday, February 19.
