The Power of the Palette Knife, with Susan Overstreet

This course will explore the technique of palette knife painting and its attributes: quick coverage, clear color, sharp edges and lines, and easy cleanup! Various sizes and shapes of palette knives will be used, and each class will start with a demonstration of palette knife technique. Students will bring their own references of studies and photos as subject matter. The discovery of individual mark making will be emphasized in class discussions and critiques.
Both oil and acrylic painters are welcome.
