Fee:  $50.00 Member/ $55.00 Non-member

This two class session  will  focus on the color pallet of a hot summer day on Cape Cod. The goal will be to paint a scene that captures our summer colors.  We will identify warm and cool colors and select the value range for a day filled with sun and light. Bring your own sunny Cape Cod photos or ones will be provided.

Class will begin with a demonstrations and a warm-up exercise. Focusing on a seasonal palette as a way to hone observational skills with landscape and still life. Artists will be encouraged to share, with critiques directed towards understanding and explaining the choices we make as artists. This class is for beginners, refreshers and intermediate students and meets in the Owl Hall on the main level of the Education Wing.
