The practice of making Paste paper has been done since the late 16th c and is one of the oldest forms of decorated paper.  Unlike other techniques which require advance skills, paste paper was developed in the book binding industry using left over paste and pigments to make decorate papers that were used as end sheets, book covers and covering boxes.

Great results are achieved by using a large variety of mark making tools, including your fingers.  In this class you will see a variety of methods to making beautiful papers and test this technique for yourself.

This class is the perfect compliement to the Band Box class.  Make your own paper for your boxes.

Class Fee: Members $125/ Nonmembers $150
