This pastel painting class will be part of an ongoing series with a focus on exploration of both color and multimedia with pastel painting techniques. We will look at how color can change the impact or mood of the painting, assess color preferences and your pastel palette/box and explore ways to expand choices based on color harmonies.  Pastels work wonderfully with other mediums, and in this class you will have the option to incorporate techniques and materials into your pastel paintings.

This is a 6-week hybrid  in-person and online class. Students may attend all 6 weeks online or take the class using the Zoom platform. The Art Center will email you the link before the online classes meet.
