Online Golden Bough Crewel Embroidery: Master Class

This online class  is an exclusive design for the NHA by Lucy Dillon and interpreted by Ms. Bouriez in Crewel Embroidery stitches and basic Gold Work stitches.  It gives the Needle worker an opportunity to perfect some familiar crewel stitches while launching into the metallic thread world.  This is an advanced class for the intermediate to advanced stitcher.  It is worked in DMC cotton, Japanese gold couching Lumiyarn, gold bullion, smooth and check and sequins and sewing Lumiyarn. The finished piece can be framed in a regular or a cherry valentine frame.  The octagon cherry frame is available for an extra charge.

Each session Ms. Bouriez will instruct on specific stitches and students will have the opportunity to work on these during the online sessions as well as ask questions in between the sessions.

Materials will be available for pick up at the 1800 House or shipped to you.

An invitation will be sent prior to each session for joining the class.
