Online Class: Mixed Media Collage with Mellissa Morris

Through a series of demonstrations, technique shares, and lectures students will learn how to develop and employ color, texture, transfers, collage, mark making, and mixed media techniques and applications to build a rich visual vocabulary. We will create a notebook/sketchbook full of ideas and techniques that can be used in larger pieces of art or as pieces of art themselves. Whether working in abstraction or realism this class will open up many unexpected ways of getting interesting visual information onto the page.
