Why does Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts have the best collection of the work of Claude Monet outside of Paris? Because collectors in Boston were crazy for the work of Monet! Art Historian Carol Scollans will talk about the artist, his artwork, his home and garden, his collectors and the extraordinary collection of Monet’s work in the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. Ms. Scollans, who teaches at UMass Boston, has helped to document Monet exhibits at the Museum of Fine Arts.

Tickets: $60.00 – $70.00.
