Oil, Acrylic and Pastel: Palette Knife Plus with Dan Hanagan – Wednesdays (Late Spring)

This is a 6-week class.
This class is for students with some drawing and painting experience. Students choose their medium: drawing, oil, acrylic, pastel and watercolor. Class is coaching style rather than group instruction.
Experiment with different sizes and shapes of palette knives to create a variety of textures. Learn to use texture and color mixing directly on the canvas to create a dynamic painting.
Students will choose their own subject for painting. They may work from photographs and/or nature (they may work on the grounds surrounding the Art Center). Each session will end with a group critique.
