North Beach Island Adventure for Families

Join a Wellfleet Bay naturalist for a short boat trip over to North Beach Island in Chatham. We’ll comb the beach and the wrackline in search of natural treasures and observe birds, seals, and other wildlife. Trips are offered for families and for adults. Be prepared to walk up to 2 miles in soft sand.
Instructions and Directions:
Pre-registration is required.
Please note: all registrants must check in at the meeting location 30 minutes prior to the start of the program to ensure on time boat departure. Directions to meeting location given at the time of registration.
All children age 12 and under are required to wear life jackets (provided) on the boat to comply with state law. Please wear shoes that can get wet as we will be entering and exiting the boat in water up to our knees.
Please note our cancellation policy: In order to receive a refund, you must notify us of your cancellation at least 7 days before the program begins. If we cancel the program, you will receive a full refund. We reserve the right to change programs, schedules, and instructors, and to cancel programs due to low enrollment or unfavorable weather.
