New Black Eagle Jazz Band Concert

In honor of Heritage’s 50th Anniversary, we’re bringing back one of museum founder J.K. Lilly III’s – and our members’ – favorite bands for a concert under the stars! Join us for an evening of Traditional New Orleans Jazz with one of the genre’s premier multi-piece bands: The New Black Eagle Jazz Band. Bring a blanket or chair and prepare to be wowed by the New Black Eagles’ “mature mastery” of “great American music – from Louis Armstrong and Jelly Roll Morton to early Duke Ellington to Cole Porter; from blues to rags to popular songs of the era.” Bring your own picnic or purchase food and beverages from the Magnolia Café. You won’t want to miss this spectacular night!
