Mushroom Foraging with Tyler Akabane

| $70 – $80Explore Beebe Woods with expert mushroom foragers Tyler Akabane and Lindsay Blevins of Mushrooms for My Friends. Tyler and Lindsay will take you on a 60–90-minute walk through Beebe Woods and forage for mushrooms. Taylor is the owner of the Mushroom Shop in Somerville, MA where they specialize in culinary mushrooms and related items, including books, fermented items, unique produce and one of a kind pantry items.
Following the walk, Highfield culinary instructors will provide a sampling of mushroom appetizers on our porch to sample while continuing the conversation with Tyler and Lindsay. Bring a picnic and enjoy the grounds afterward if you like. Please dress and come prepared for a 60-90 minute walk.
