In this course inspired by the work of Pauline Lim, students will create their own visual stories using drawing, painting, and collage. We will look at how artists have made their stories into pictures from ancient times to modern illustration. Students will learn basic techniques for translating their ideas into visual imagery, as well as learning simple approaches to collage and watercolor painting – all while creating unique and personal works of art.
