Cruise from Sesuit Harbor in Dennis into Cape Cod Bay aboard the Albatross to look for marine creatures. Our naturalists will use a plankton net, scallop drag, and fish pots to bring up fish, crabs, shellfish, and plankton for you to see and touch. This is a very popular family trip!
Instructions and Directions:
Pre-registration is required. Program registrations will not be taken at the dock by the program leader.
Meet 15 minutes in advance at Sesuit Harbor in Dennis, main parking lot. The naturalist will meet by the boat ramp and the Albatross fishing boat. Directions provided upon registration.
Please arrive and check-in 15 minutes before the start of the program. We recommend that you dress for the weather, and bring binoculars, sunscreen, windbreaker, hat, and drinking water. Snacks are appropriate as well. All children age 12 and below are required to wear life jackets (provided) on the boat to comply with state law.
We make every effort to make decisions regarding cancellations due to weather or low enrollment as far in advance as possible. Final decisions regarding enrollment will be made by 2 PM the day of the program. Weather decisions are made as far in advance as is reasonable but recognize that the weather on Cape Cod can change quickly and last-minute cancellations are possible.
Please note our cancellation policy: In order to receive a refund, you must notify us of your cancellation at least 7 days before the program begins. If we cancel the program, you will receive a full refund. We reserve the right to change programs, schedules, and instructors, and to cancel programs due to low enrollment or unfavorable weather.
