This workshop will provide an introduction to the art of painting with hot wax and pure pigments. Participants will learn the exciting, ancient process of creating luminous paintings! We will cover the basics of working with beeswax, color, and a heat gun, using the materials safely and efficiently. Techniques explored will be fusing, layering, incising, as well as embedding, and collaging.
