Inside The Pages: C.L. Fornari

Join us for a reading, Q & A and book signing with local author C.L. Fornari.

C.L. is a writer, speaker, radio host and consultant. She is the author of several books including Coffee For Roses and the Cocktail Hour Garden. She gardens at Poison Ivy Acres on Cape Cod, and her initials may or may not stand for “compost lover”.

Since her first book, The Cape Cod Garden, was published in the mid-1990’s, C.L. has continued to teach about successful gardening in this region and keep up with new plants, pests and latest research that home-landscapers need to know about. Her new book, Sand and Soil: Creating Beautiful Gardens on Cape Cod and The Islands, addresses the new and the tried-and-true. In this presentation C.L. will talk about how things have changed in the past twenty years, and what remains the same. From plants that seemed great in 1995 (Leyland cypress?) to those that are welcome new additions (‘Bobo’ Hydrangeas), you will learn how to create the ecologically friendly and beautiful landscape you desire.

The talk will be followed by a book signing and copies of Sand and Soil will be available for purchase courtesy of the Wellfleet Marketplace.
