In Search of Shorebirds

Late summer and fall are the best time to experience shorebird migration on Cape Cod. Join a Wellfleet Bay naturalist as we bird our way out to the beach along sanctuary trails. We’ll hope to see willets, whimbrels, black-bellied plovers, and peeps galore!
Instructions and Directions:
Pre-registration is very strongly recommended. For non-members, the program fee includes sanctuary admission for the remainder of the day.
Please arrive and check-in 10 minutes before the start of the program. Bring binoculars. We recommend that you dress for the weather and bring sunscreen and drinking water. Wear comfortable walking shoes.
Please note our cancellation policy: In order to receive a refund, you must notify us of your cancellation at least 7 days before the program begins. If we cancel the program, you will receive a full refund. We reserve the right to change programs, schedules, and instructors, and to cancel programs due to low enrollment or unfavorable weather.
