If you have ever been curious about the magical process of printmaking, or want a review, this workshop is for you.

In this two-day workshop, students will learn basic printmaking techniques and create monoprints (unique prints). Demonstrations will include, press set-up, ink mixing and rolling, and approaches to working in layers to create depth in images. There will be focus on using found and handmade stencils as printing substrates to create complex images from simple techniques. Participants will explore how monoprints can be easily used to create a series so that they will come away from the workshop with several unique but related prints.
