Fabiola Mendez Trio presents “Afrorriqueña”

Fabiola Mendez started playing the Puerto Rican cuatro at age six and now she brings that talent to the Cultural Center of Cape Cod. Mendez was a student at the Humacao Musical Institute, the Antonio Paoli School of Music in Caguas, and the Conservatorio de Artes del Caribe. In 2018, she got her Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music, becoming the first student to graduate with the Puerto Rican cuatro as principal instrument.
