Exciting Electromagnets

Class Fee: $20/child
Families will build an understanding of the relationship between electricity and magnetism, create a simple electromagnet, then design a project that shows the electromagnet at work in a useful situation (like in a junk-yard for moving old cars, or on construction sites to pick up sharp, metal objects from the ground). Children will learn about forms of energy and design their own project which utilizes their electromagnet in a useful setting.
Our activities are interactive and for the whole family. Parents and guardians can expect to join in the fun as they may need to assist their younger children.
