What do graphic designers, illustrators, fine artists, architects, animators, interior designers, fashion designers, and film makers all have in common? You guessed it – a strong and comprehensive understanding of the principles of design!
This hands-on workshop is a unique opportunity for young designers to spend time experimenting with the elements of visual design. They will be working with concepts like composition, pattern, scale, movement, color theory and texture as they learn to create exciting, dynamic designs which can be applied to a variety of media.
Individual development and creative expression will be at the core of all the workshops, encouraging students to experiment and explore the many forms of design. Students will apply these new skills to their own personal projects in graphic design, sculpture, fashion, landscape and interior design – sharing ideas, techniques and inspiration in a calm and pressure free environment conducive to creative thinking!
