Drawing Bootcamp, with Susan Overstreet

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced artist who wants to brush up on your drawing skills, this will be a fun and relaxing day-long event.  Using just markers and charcoal on newsprint, students will draw big, loose, and free from still life arrangements without caring about the outcome! The goal will be to improve the skills of seeing and expressing through blind and modified contour, gesture, and modeling exercises. You will be taught key concepts of composition, measuring, line, shape, value, form, texture, and space. Bring a bag lunch for our midday critique and discussion!
