There are so many types of digital art out there, it is difficult to know how to start. If you have an iPad, this workshop will introduce you to the basic concepts in making digital art. Using the multi-purpose app, Procreate as a starting point, we will explore some basic workflows that you can easily learn and then customize to create your own style and look. With the app Procreate, you can do ANYTHING. Learn to work with lens based images, trace, or conceive digital art through free hand drawing.
We’ll cover different uses of brushes, blending images together and making masks, using layers and moving images from one app to another. No previous experience in digital art or drawing is necessary.
Please bring your iPad to class and have Procreate preload. You may purchase the Procreate app from the iTunes App store on your Apple device.
