Children will use natural and “magical” materials to create their own miniature home for indoor fairies, gnomes, and other magical beings.  They will plan, design, and build a structure in this fun class that puts the A in STEM. With reeds and grapevine they will construct walls, then finish them by weaving and attaching fibers, raffia and silk flowers. They may add a roof, loft or other additions. This STEAM class will give kids a chance to stretch their imaginations while using an amazing variety of materials to make fairy furniture, gardens, or other comforts and accessories. On the final day, they will make the miniature woodland figures to enjoy and play with in their new home. Students will learn to use hot glue safely with permission. This class typically sells out.  Please register early.

This class will meet in the Owl Hall on the main level of the Education Wing.
