Botanical Illustration Workshop with Ellen Duarte

| $45 – $55If you love garden, forest and field, join botanical illustrator Ellen Duarte in exploring plants and nature through drawing and painting. See plants as you have never seen them through careful observation and drawing. Learn new skills for using watercolor to render stems, leaves, and blooms, try new methods of color mixing using a limited palette, and discuss ways these skills can be used to create plant portraits, studies, and journals. Ellen Duarte taught art in the Barnstable Public Schools before receiving her Certificate in Botanical Illustration. She has exhibited and received several awards for her work. Class size is limited to 8, and materials will be provided.
