Birding Crane Wildlife Management Area

Join a Wellfleet Bay naturalist for a van trip to Crane Wildlife Management Area, a birding hotspot in Mashpee. A great spot for grassland birds, we’ll look for kestrels, grasshopper sparrows, meadowlarks, and more.
Instructions and Directions:
Pre-registration required.
This program meets at Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary. Please arrive and check in with the naturalist 10 minutes before the program start time. Bring binoculars, water, and snacks. Dress for the weather and wear shoes appropriate for walking up to two miles over varied terrain. We’ll provide a scope.
Please note our cancellation policy: In order to receive a refund, you must notify us of your cancellation at least 7 days before the program begins. If we cancel the program, you will receive a full refund. We reserve the right to change programs, schedules, and instructors, and to cancel programs due to low enrollment or unfavorable weather.
