Big Brush Painting, with Joe Gallant

Learn how to create a particular feeling or mood in your painting. Experience the fun, freedom, and spontaneity of using large brushes, which are available at local hardware stores. Students will use water mixable oil paints or acrylics to complete their own painting during this 3-hour workshop. Utilizing a seascape reference photo, the instructor will demonstrate and guide students through the steps of creating their painting, which although starting with a reference, will be unique with the quality of the artist’s vision and brushstrokes.
