Becoming a Fearless Painter: Hitting a Brick Wall

Join Odin in a series of sessions that change their directive each month and are devoted to working in a smaller and more intensive learning environment, to improve specific artistic skills.

In July’s Fearless Painter we will be discussing and working through those times when you hit a wall with your painting. Have you ever felt stuck and couldn’t find a way to jump start your creativity? Have you ever become bored with your subject matter and found that nothing excites you? Have you experienced creative paralysis and felt like totally giving up painting? This month, we will work through these thoughts and feelings and discuss ways to recharge the excitement and try some short exercises to spark a renewed enjoyment of paint on canvas!!

Please be prepared with your own reference material If needed, acrylic paints, brushes, all supplies and any size canvases. This class meets in Odin’s Studio on the upper level of the Education Wing.
