Basic Papermaking and Bookmaking

Making your own paper and books is fun but also messy and time consuming to do at home. It’s also more fun to do with other people. We will use basic techniques using recycled paper and plant materials to make our paper on the first day and then will use that paper to design and make our books on the second day. A suggested supply list will be sent to you before class begins but most papers that can be recycled, dried flowers and grasses, and small additions such as yarn or string are welcome.
