Author Talk – “In the Wake of the Mayflower”

Join Museum Director Mary Childs as she welcomes popular lecturers Karen Rinaldo and Kevin Doyle to discuss their new book : “In the Wake of the Mayflower”
This lecture will ‘connect the dots’ from the Pilgrims’ arrival in Plymouth to the Boston and Sandwich Glass Company.
Widely applauded as an ‘easy reading’ history of the Pilgrim adventure, this illustrated book shares the story of the founding of the 15 Cape Cod towns.
Ms. Childs will pick up the narrative from the 1825 founding of the Boston and Sandwich Glass Company, it’s influence on the town of Sandwich, and the relevance of glassmaking today.
There will be opportunities for conversation and questions, and there will be a reception following the talk.
