An Introduction to 3D Mosaic Garden Art, with Carrie Fradkin

This 4-week class is geared toward beginners who want to learn about basic techniques, tools, and materials involved in creating lightweight mosaic garden art. This class covers cutting, proper adhesives, substrates, design/layout, and grouting. We will be using a Styrofoam (extruded polystyrene foam) base to create our garden art. Students will complete one project during the class. Students are encouraged to experiment and begin to discover the possibilities of mosaic. No experience is necessary.
