Join biological illustrator Julie Child in the gallery for a casual conversation about how the materials and methods of hand drawing evolved over the course of her career. Julie will choose examples from the drawings on view, explain her art material choices, and demonstrate some of her techniques. Drawing materials to be discussed include dip pen and ink, graphite, carbon dust, LeRoy set, colored pencils, rapidograph pens, watercolor, and charcoal.
