As awareness of our environmental challenges increases, many people want to do their part by making their own backyards more eco-friendly, but don’t know how to get started. Cathy Weston will be sharing 5 concrete and manageable projects that homeowners can do this spring, with a focus on adding native plants to an existing landscape. She will provide plant recommendations and layouts for each project.

About Cathy Weston:
Cathy Weston has been gardening on Cape Cod for 30 years, with the last 10 focused on native plants. She holds a Certificate in Native Plant Horticulture and Design from the Native Plant Trust, and has incorporated over 120 native species into her own Chatham landscape. Cathy is also a Trustee of the Chatham Conservation Foundation, where she tends the mini-meadow at CCF headquarters on Main St and assists in landscape restoration projects.
