In the dystopian future, all life has been destroyed except for the passengers who live aboard a lengthy bullet train that can never stop moving. In Joon-ho Bong’s grim, microcosmic vision of class and existential struggle, Chris Evans is a disgruntled everyman and Ed Harris is an L. Ron Hubbard-like tyrant-guru.

The Provincetown Film Art Series, now in its 14th year, is sponsored by the Provincetown Film Society (PFS) and Provincetown Art Association and Museum (PAAM), and curated and hosted by Howard Karren, arts editor of the Provincetown Independent.

Wednesday screenings are at 7 pm every other week except as noted at the Waters Edge Cinema in Provincetown, 237 Commercial St. (Whaler’s Wharf, 2nd floor), and are introduced and followed by a discussion.
