If These Walls Could Talks! Historic Museums of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, and Nantucket

Speaker: Marcia Young

Where: Mural Barn, Atwood Museum

When: Tuesday, September 8, 2026 – 5:00 PM

Come learn about the many house museums on Cape Cod and the Islands – from houses built in the 1600s to mansions built for high society. These historic gems hold the stories of ship captains, Native Americans, artists and ordinary people. Visiting a house museum is often the best way to learn about the lives of women, children or servants. We’ll take a step back in time and take a peek into their lives. This lecture is based on the speaker’s guidebook, Visit House Museums: Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard & Nantucket.

Books will be available for purchase for $20, cash or Venmo. They are also available on Amazon in paperback and kindle version.

Reservations are available by clicking HERE.

Admission is $10 for non members, and free for members.
