Morphmom is a multimedia platform dedicated to sharing stories that educate, inspire, empower and connect women to help them discover their next step. It is a resource for women trying to decide what to do tomorrow, next week or next year. Our community is comprised of women both struggling to discover their next step, be itwork related, volunteer-based, navigating unexpected roads or simply rediscovering their passion. as well as those who have who had managed to chart their own course with the hope of helping others to do the same by sharing their journeys.

The Atwood Museum will host this one time event on Tuesday, August 11th from 5:30-8:00 pm in the iconic Atwood Museum Mural Room. Meet Patricia Vreeland, Shareen Davis, Virginia Nickerson, Michelle Ferguson, Rachel Kaprielian, Jitka Borowick, Michelle Linn, Dani Davis, Tedi Marsh, Jeanne Daniel, and Eileen O’ Connor, and Amanda Braga-Tipton.

Kathleen Butler Smith is the CEO & Founder of MORPHMOM, LLC. After graduating from Holy Cross and from Georgetown Law, she served as an Assistant Prosecutor in Hudson County, New Jersey for six years. She stopped working following the birth of her second child, and later discovered that re-entering the workforce would be difficult. Kathleen quickly noticed that she was not alone and that there were, in fact, many women who found themselves in a similar position, struggling to discover their next step, be it work related, volunteer-based, navigating unexpected twists and turns, or simply rediscovering their passion. She began to chronicle the inspirational stories of women (whom she named "Morphmoms" who had managed to chart their own course with the hope of helping other women do the same. Since its launch in 2012, Morphmom has become a platform to promote and to support these women and their remarkable stories. Kathleen and her husband, Jim, have three children in various stages of leaving the nest.
