Community Conversation: Red, White, Blue & You: Cape Cod Artist Perspectives
Cape Cod is often described as an artist’s paradise. There are many active visual art centers and groups from Bourne to Provincetown. Our community conversation will focus on artists living on Cape Cod and how they use their art as their voice especially in relation to democracy. The conversation will include art as patriotism, and potential discussion questions will revolve around art and activism, what groups are underrepresented in the Cape Cod art scene, how art builds community on Cape Cod, and how artists and advocates use the visual arts as a form of expression in today’s society.
We are excited to partner with the Cordial Eye for an art-centric community conversation focused on the voices of Cape Cod artists. This collaboration is a great opportunity for both organizations to synchronize their efforts to uplift unique perspectives from the Cape Cod artist community.
This project creates a space for much needed discourse on the experiences of creative individual on Cape Cod.
We look forward to not only promoting Cape Cod artists, but also providing a space for conversation around what makes art vital on Cape Cod.
