From Brooklyn stages to Fenway Park, from Tokyo jazz clubs to the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall—Robbie Pate has built a career that defies easy categories. This June, he brings his voice and piano to Cape Cod for an evening with the region's premier jazz rhythm section.

A graduate of both Berklee College of Music and the New England Conservatory, Robbie moves fluidly between jazz, pop, and R&B—a versatility that's taken him around the world with the Alexey Podymkin Quartet and the Yuki Futami Trio in Japan, and onto the stage at Fenway with the Zac Brown Band. Back home, he holds a music residency at Tin Pan Alley in Provincetown, performs with The Matt Savage Groove Experiment, and teaches the next generation of ensemble musicians at Berklee and the Longy School of Music.

Joining Robbie: the Cape Cod Jazz Trio—Fred Boyle on piano, Ron Ormsby on bass and Bart Weisman on drums, the tireless curator behind so many of the Cape's finest jazz events.
