Join photographer Julia Cumes and her collaborator, Lipe Borges, along with several portrait subjects from Invisible Threads: Portraits and Stories of our Global Neighbors, for an evening of storytelling and dialogue. Julia and Lipe will share behind-the-scenes stories from the making of the project, while portrait subjects speak about their personal journeys reflected in the exhibition. The program concludes with an audience Q&A, offering a deeper look into the lives and stories that bring the portraits to life. Portions of the evening will include Portuguese translation to ensure accessibility and inclusivity for all.
