Learn the fundamentals of painting with acrylics in this 5-part fun and playful weekend class with noted artist Ric Haynes. No experience is necessary in this supportive and encouraging class where you will learn the fundamentals of painting with acrylics, including color mixing, brush technique, drawing with paint, mapping simple portraits and figures, learning to play with color and form and accept and incorporate accidents in your work.

All materials are provided, though you may want to purchase your own to practice at home. Ric recommends 60 ml size tubes of higher-grade paint (do NOT purchase student grade) in the following colors: cobalt turquoise, yellow ochre, pyrrole red, cerulean blue, mars yellow light, napthol red, and 2 tubes of titanium white, as well as a variety pack of white synthetic brushes specifically for acrylic paint.
