A Voice for All Seasons: Mezzo-Soprano Natalja Sticco in Concert
This International Women's Day, experience the extraordinary voice of mezzo-soprano Natalja Sticco in an intimate afternoon of opera, cinematic crossover, and timeless classics.
From the grand stages of the Latvian National Opera and the Bolshoi Theatre to the concert halls of Monte Carlo and Oman, Natalja Sticco has captivated audiences across six countries with her rich, emotionally charged voice. Now based in the United States, she brings her artistry to Cape Cod for a rare afternoon performance—voice and piano, up close—where every phrase becomes personal.
The program weaves together Italian opera arias, romantic ballads, and beloved melodies reimagined for the intimate stage. Expect passion, drama, and moments of breathtaking beauty as Natalja explores roles that have defined her career: the fiery Carmen, the grief-stricken Azucena, the vengeful Santuzza. Her performances don't simply tell stories—they inhabit them.
A graduate of the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music and trained under director Andrejs Žagars, Natalja has shared stages with Jonas Kaufmann, Elīna Garanča, and Kristīne Opolais. Her artistic path now extends into film, with recent vocal work for indie cinema and an animated feature headed to the 2026 Boston Film Festival.
On a day dedicated to celebrating women's voices, there is no better way to honor that spirit than through music that transcends language and time.
An afternoon of passion, power, and the enduring beauty of the human voice.
