The Brewster Historical Society is hosting a guided walking tour of Brewster Cemetery this month. "A Grave Situation" takes place Thursday, August 20, 2026. The 75-minute narrated tour runs from 4:30 PM to 5:45 PM. The cemetery is located at 465 Lower Road in Brewster. Scripted by Sally Cabot Gunning, this event explores the stories of the famous, the infamous, and the unknown historical figures buried there. Guests should expect uneven terrain during the walk. Space is limited, and reservations are required in advance because tickets will not be sold on-site. The tour is weather-dependent and is not suitable for children under eight years old.
