This is a yoga practice developed by Lees Yunits (E-RYT 500), who has taught yoga at the Cultural Center since 2017. With more than 40 years of practice and study, Lees includes the techniques of Hatha, Yin, Kundalini, Vini-Yoga, Meditation, and Pranayama. Her classes explore stretches, holds, balance postures, breath and meditation, all to enhance your well-being.
MATERIALS
Please bring your yoga mat and some water; a block is optional.

Lees Yunits, E-RYT-500
Lees Yunits is a certified and experienced Yoga teacher specializing in Hatha Yoga and Yin Yoga, with elements of Kundalini yoga, Viniyoga, Pranayama (Breathwork) and Meditation included in her classes. She has been teaching for more than twelve years, (three of them at the Cultural Center), practicing for more than forty years, and has also produced several Cable TV Yoga shows, most recently at Lower Cape TV in Eastham. Lees believes that yoga is especially important for mature students who strive to stay healthy, both physically and mentally. Her advanced degree focused on yoga therapy and thus her classes, “Yoga for Wise Warriors,” is a style with that in mind.
