Christmas, as we celebrate it today, is a relatively recent invention.
Our Puritan forefathers frowned on celebrating the holiday and only in the mid-19th century did Christmas become the holiday we recognize today.
No matter where one lives, everyone’s Christmas is, in part, a New England Christmas.
