Although the gray whale is alive and well in the Pacific, unfortunately, they are extinct in the Atlantic. Come walk through this amazing creature and learn all about its behavior and habits from the inside out with our CCMNH volunteers, Gerry and Karen Beetham. An extraordinary journey! Gray whales are amazing long-distance travelers, undertaking migrations of thousands of kilometers each year. They were THE attraction on the world’s first-ever whale watching trips in the 1950s and today still attract thousands of visitors as they migrate up the west coast of North America each spring.
